"What really drew me to do counted cross-stitch is the fact that it is a form of art. I have always wanted to be able to draw or paint, but was never blessed with that talent. However, I was blessed to learn from a friend how to do counted cross-stitch. I start with a blank canvas and when I am finished I have my work of art. It is very rewarding to be able to give someone a gift that I have made myself. Nothing is more relaxing to me than to sit and do counted cross-stitch in the evenings or on weekends. I have now extended my gift in helping others to learn counted cross-stitch as well by giving workshops at the college where I work as a professional development offering. I hope you enjoy viewing my work."
